Mimba Consulting was formed by Michael Barrett, an IT management professional with 20 years experience, over 10 years of which have been in senior management roles within software and technology based companies.

Career Background
Michael brings over 15 years experience in Technology Management, IT Operations, Project /Programme Management, Technical Support and Professional Services. Between 2004 and 2008, Michael held a number of senior management roles with Antics Technologies Limited, a producer of 3D software animation, based in Cambridge, where he finished up as a company Director, heading up operations activities.
Prior to joining Antics, he was Director of Operations with Paveto Limited, a mobile and wireless consulting company based in Ireland. While with Valista Limited, a mobile commerce platform and solutions company he was Director of Technical Support and Professional Services while also managing IT systems. Between 1993 and 2000, he held a number of management roles in Corel Corporation Ltd, a global software products and services firm finishing up as Director of International Technical and Professional Services.
Michael has a Dip in Electronics from the Institute of Technology in Dundalk, Ireland and an MBA from The Open University. He is also a PRINCE 2 Certified Practitioner, a Chartered IT Professional (CITP) through the British Computer Society and a member of the Institute of Engineering and technology (MIET).
